Good news, everybody! Our newest releases and represses are now in! We now have the brand new Perfect Future album, Old Wounds: Warmth in the Winter of 1914-1915, and the represses of Dowsing‘s All I Could Find Was You and the Reptilian‘s Full Health in stock. All of the preorders have been shipped out, so if you haven’t gotten them yet, you will soon! We also added and restocked some items in our distro, including both Snowing 7 inch records (Fuck Your Emotional Bullshit and Pump Fake), Emo Side Project‘s The End of Something CD, a Foxmoulder Hindsight Cassette Tape, and a split CD featuring Caitlyn Bailey, Lizards Have Personalities, Orion Pax and Viceversa.

Ladies and gentlemen, today we would like everyone to give a warm welcome to the newest addition to our roster: Brave Bird.

Brave Bird hails from our very own home state of Michigan, nestled in the college town of Ann Arbor. Ask them to hold up their hand the next time you see them so they can show you where that is. We’ve heard them compared to such bands as Brand New, This Town Needs Guns, and Manchester Orchestra, but we think they bring their own sound to the table. They will be entering Minx Recording Studio this summer to begin tracking their CYLS debut with engineer Mat Halliday (Empire! Empire! (I Was a Lonely Estate, Reptilian, Fireworks) this summer. Expect their first full length to drop sometime this fall.

In the meantime, catch them on tour with their brand new label mates Dowsing, starting tomorrow through the 25th!

You can now head over to Alternative Press and hear a new song from the upcoming Joie De Vivre full length We’re All Better Than This. The track is called “I Was Sixteen Ten Years Ago”. If you are looking to wet your whistle and are new to the band, head over to our store to pick up their last full length The North End here. The vinyl is out of print, but you can still get the CD or the digital copies on our Bandcamp/iTunes/etc.

For those of you who have been fans for a while, you know that the Summer Months CD has been out of print for a while and that it was never pressed on vinyl. We have very exciting news for you! The entire EP was remastered and given new artwork and will be released as a 12″, available at the same time as the new full length!

It is a very exciting time for all of us here at CYLS! Alternative Press is going to be debuting one new song from each of the new Dowsing and Joie De Vivre records this weekend! Well, it’s that time! We are kicking things into high gear at CYLS HQ, and the first order of the day is the Pre-Orders of two great new albums!

The first one is Ape Up!‘s new 10″ entitled Kemosabe, which, as of 4 o’clock, is streaming exclusively and in it’s entirety at Punknews.org. Give that a whirl, then pre-order it here in Black or White! For fans of Small Brown Bike, Get Up Kids, and Hot Water Music.

The second new album is the sophomore release by Perfect Future- a WWI concept album called Old Wounds: Warmth in the Winter of 1914-1915. The biggest concept of this album, though, is that it kicks major ass. Watch a video of a new song right now if you don’t believe us!

You will have to wait until a little bit later this week to hear the streaming of the entire album, but this song along should be enough for you to head over to our store and pre-order it! Get it here.
