Rainer Maria comparisons be damned, Football, etc. are an amazing band on their own merit.  From start to finish, everything about Football, etc. spells out rock.  Their no-nonsense approach to music is as refreshing as it is honest- these girls and guy know where to take you and exactly how to get there.   And even though we can't quite figure out just what their fascination with football is, we honestly couldn't care, as long as they keep rocking- and hey, maybe that's what that whole "etc" business is about.
